Vin Diesel always hogs the limelight. But this time it was for all the wrong reasons.
The Fast and the Furious star was being interviewed by a Brazilian journo for his upcoming film xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage when he blatantly started flirting with her. It turned out to be borderline creepy when he went on and on about her physical appearance. Calling her ‘beautiful and fucking sexy’, he even went on to say that he cannot concentrate on the interview because of her.
So much so, that he kept on interrupting her all throughout the interview.
“God, you’re so beautiful. God, she’s so beautiful,” Diesel said the first time he interrupted the interviewer Carol Moreira. He then looked around him and asked the people in the background, “Am I right or wrong? I mean look at her. How am I supposed to do this interview?”
A visibly uncomfortable Moreira took it in sporting manner and tried to continue with the interview but to no avail. Things got even more uncomfortable when Diesel asked her out on a date!
“Tell me your story. Let’s get out of here. Let’s go. Let’s go have lunch.”
Carol brushed it off by politely saying ‘Thank You’. But Diesel then blurted out “My God, I love her!”.
Her second attempt at trying to carry on the interview failed when Diesel again interrupted her and said,
“You guys think this is a joke. How am I supposed to sit here when I’m looking at such beauty? She’s so beautiful. I’m in love. I’m in love with the interviewer!”
It wasn’t until she posted the interview on her YouTube channel that people got to know how uncomfortable she felt with Diesel’s behaviour.
“He began to hit on me in the middle of the interview, say that I was pretty, and he interrupted the interview three times to talk about it. I was laughing, completely uncomfortable. I was not sure what to do. I just laughed because it was a very delicate situation. I did not like it. At the time I did not know how to react, but you will see that I was uncomfortable, it was not nice that he interrupted my work.”

After this video started circulating on the social media circuit, many websites carried out stories about Diesel’s indecent behavior and how he objectified a female journo.
Vin Diesel then took to Facebook to post an apology for the same and even posted the entire video of the controversial interview.
He wrote, “As you all know, I try to keep my interviews playful and fun, especially when I am in the Xander Zone... But if I offended anyone, then let me apologize, because that is never my intention.
